After school Dale and Matthew walked to Main Street and entered the barbershop owned by Dale's grandfather. Dale asked his grandpa, "Can I show Matthew some of the old stuff in back?"

Without looking up from his work the boy's grandfather answered, "Sure, but be careful." The twelve-year-olds passed the large mirrored back bar that was crowded with aftershave bottles, family pictures and a penny gumball machine. Around the corner a door led to a storage warehouse behind the shop.
